Regional Transportation

The Commission has provided transportation planning services since 1972 to address both areawide and local transportation issues. The Regional Transportation Work Program is funded primarily by the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) with matching funds from the Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT) and the Commission, with additional revenues provided by specialized planning contracts.
