Purpose: Economic Development Advisory Committee (EDAC) was formed in the mid-1970s when the Commission became an Economic Development District of the Economic Development Administration (EDA). The committee is comprised of Economic Development professionals who represent public, nonprofit, and private entities from throughout the eight county region. The primary roles of the EDAC are to oversee the annual community economic development project survey and to revise and update the region's Comprehensive Economic Development Strategy (CEDS).
Meeting Schedule: February 17, 2011; May 19, 2011; August 18, 2011; and November 17, 2011 (If necessary). All meetings are scheduled for 10:00 am. and held here at the Commission's offices in Green Bay. They are open to the public.
August 18, 2011 Meeting: This meeting of the EDAC will be devoted to reviewing the 2009 CEDS and making any updates to the document. This includes updates to the goals and objectives and the individual strategies.
