2011 Community Project List

The Bay-Lake Regional Planning Commission recently completed its 2011 Community Economic Development survey. Over 120 surveys were sent out to counties, cities, villages, towns, and economic development organizations to gather information on projects they have in mind and would like to complete within the next one to three years. The complete list of projects is provided below.

At their May 19, 2011 meeting, the Economic Development Advisory Committee (EDAC) reviewed the complete project list. In addition, many of the municipalities and organizations that responded to the survey designated one project as their priority for completion within the next couple of years. Based on the information provided, the EDAC scored each of these projects according to a comprehensive set of criteria to determine a ranking of those priority projects. The list of priority projects is given below. Commission staff will work with local economic development professionals and municipal officials to offer as much technical assistance as possible in order for these projects to be completed in a timely manner.
